Origins

Animal Nutrition Academy was established to preserve and share practical knowledge in animal nutrition. Its growing collection of technical publications created the need for a permanent home where this material could be organized and made freely available for long-term professional reference. The Academy has since expanded to include industry perspectives, educational series, and publishing collaborations.

Mission

The Academy’s mission is to connect nutritional science with commercial practice through publications, education, and industry collaboration. Emphasis is placed on clarity, technical accuracy, and commercial relevance, helping professionals apply knowledge to feeding decisions and animal production systems.

The Academy

Animal Nutrition Academy brings together technical publishing, industry commentary, and collaborative educational projects for animal nutrition and health professionals, livestock producers and feed industry businesses.

Alongside Feeds & Feeding, the website provides access to Global Beef industry perspectives, Ask the Expert educational series, and indexes of articles published through collaborations with other industry media.

Feeds & Feeding

Established in 2025, Feeds & Feeding remains the flagship publication of the Animal Nutrition Academy. Each issue draws on nutritional science and commercial experience to examine a specific topic, with emphasis on applied nutrition and practical decision-making under commercial conditions.

The Academy maintains its permanent home and archive. Issues are organized by volume and issue number for long-term reference and retrieval. The official edition of each issue is published as a downloadable PDF document.
